“Growing up a young black girl with a lot of heart, passion, and drive here in Philly, I always wanted to be a successful entrepreneur. And that dream finally came true. In 2018, I launched The Vision Venue, LLC which quickly became one of the most innovative platforms for minority small businesses to grow in Philadelphia. In just a year and a half I was able to secure 3 storefronts in prime locations, generate over $250,000 in revenue, and help thousands of small business owners from Philadelphia to California start or grow their business. And although I experienced success, I also made a lot of mistakes, too many to count! When Covid-19 hit the retail market hard in 2020, I was overwhelmed and devastated as many entrepreneurs were. Everything I had worked so hard for was changing overnight. I had to rapidly pivot my vision in a different direction. But with persistence, quick thinking, and some long nights I was able to get through it and so can you! I wrote this book so anyone who has a desire to make their vision a reality can have a solid blueprint and a head start to entrepreneurial success.”
